Domino’s Pizza Tracker Beats FedEx, UPS

Being half-Italian, I sometimes feel guilty for indulging guilty pleasures like Domino’s Oven-Baked sandwiches. It’s definitely not authentic - does anyone in Italy eat chicken parm heroes? And if they do, do they order them online?

But who cares? Just take a look at the bad ass Domino’s Pizza Tracker:

Dominos

Maybe I’m easily amused but I find this thing to be awesome. Watching that Bake button blink, I can just visualize the laboratory-grown cheese and fake sauce bubbling on top of that amazing, crispy bread.

Now just imagine if FedEx (FDX) or UPS (UPS) had something this cool on their websites.

I want an animation of a FedEx worker scanning my new camera from Amazon (AMZN) for explosives. Or the package falling off a truck. Or the guys at the UPS depot using a box of wedding photos as a soccer ball.

Oh well, my sandwich is ready! Gotta run!

I agree this is awesome. Every time I order my large pizza, any number of toppings for $8.99 on Sundays (Coupon that in valid only on Sunday in Columbia, MO) from my college apartment I think I get more enjoyment out of watching pizza tracker than eating the pizza. Well..probably not but its close. I even wondered if the name it says is really the person making the pizza and when I picked it up (saves the delivery charge) there Steve was in the back making pies. It makes the waiting time go much quicker too.

And Domino's actually advertises the coupons while you are ordering so you don't have to go hunting around for them! Say what you want about the pizza (the more beer I drink, the better it tastes) but the service is top notch!

Also, Dominos saves your orders and coupon codes so all you need to do is log in and it has your previous orders. You do not need to go through the whole process of building your pizza. And, you are absolutely right, the shittier you are the better the pizza taste. Especially for $8.99 for a large, unlimited toppings pizza. It was great for watching football games on Sundays. Also, I know many people who buy Dominos over any other option for the quick service and best prices.

Thank you for another essential article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a complete way of writing? I have a presentation incoming week, and I am on the lookout for such information.
